Output of Youth Vision’s programs

  • More than 12000 people using drug (PUDs) are benefited by comprehensive harm reduction program in six districts; Kathamandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Parsa, Nawalparasi and Rupendehi. Added to this more that 8000 IDUs have been provided with regular harm reduction supplies including syringe, alcohol swab and condoms
  • Since the inception of the YV’s rehabilitation services nearly, 8000 PUDs have been rehabilitated  and reintegrated in society
  • More than 3700 target population have been provided syndrome management on STI and in total 5008 have been provided with VCT service
  • 252 people infected with HIV has been provided with residential care and support at treatment services and 272 people infected with HIV have been provided with Community Home Based Care Services(CHBC)
  • Essential health care package for people infected with HIV have been delivered to 884 PLHAs
  • Around 1450 target population have been provided with street based health care services which has resulted  significant reduction in the injection related health complications
  • More than 550 people who inject drugs have been provided with OST services from service centers located at Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Parsa, Rupandehi and Jhapa
  • Out of 450 Female drug users identified by YV, 21 has received residential services, 65 are receiving OST and 26 are enrolled in the female business program.
  • Provided employment opportunities and contributed for the holistic improvement of nearly 50 target pop
  • ulation through income generating activities, printing press, agriculture and female business activities.
  •  117 drug recovery benefited from Post Rehabilitation Center(PRC) services at Parsa
